MLR Law, PLLC wasn’t built just to be another law firm. It was built out of necessityborn from personal experience, professional expertise, and a deep understanding that people need legal protection in areas where the system is stacked against them.  

My legal career began in the corporate world, where I spent years as a corporate attorney, at law firms and in-house, helping businesses navigate complex legal landscapes. I saw firsthand how companies that had strong legal support thrived, while those without it struggled to manage risks, contracts, and compliance.

At the same time, I was living a very different legal experience as a parent navigating the special education system and as a family member who was being asked to help family members plan their legacies.

What I saw was this:

• • Parents were overwhelmed by bureaucracy and legal jargon, often unaware of their rights, unsure of how to advocate for their child’s needs, and left to fight alone against the education system.

  • Entrepreneurs and business owners were making high-stakes and critical decisions without a lawyer at the table to provide the legal guidance needed to protect their company.

  • Families were unprepared for life’s transitions, which meant leaving legacies vulnerable to court battles and confusion.

And so, I built MLR Law, PLLC—a law firm designed to give people the legal education, confidence, and power they deserve.
